The Containers Are In!
This summer included a massive trip to Europe where the team at Nancy Price Interior Design sought out new furnishings, art, and objects to include in the studio’s collection in Jackson Mississippi. From Norway to Belgium to France, the team scoured Europe to find the right pieces to bring back to the States.
The first container of these European findings just made its way to the store and the team is excitedly preparing these items for use. But what is it that determines whether or not an object receives the Nancy Price seal of approval and entry into this beautifully curated collection?
Some of the most important qualities of the Nancy Price Interior Design collection include the one-of-a-kind or limited edition factor. The limited availability is often owing to the high caliber of artisanal handcrafted aspect of the object. However, it’s important to keep in mind that these factors often come secondary to Nancy’s reaction. Nancy Price is known for her vision and instinctual reaction to artwork, objects and jewelry. Her aesthetic coupled with her imagination ensures that she purchases the highest quality and most unique objects that she can find. Even Nancy isn’t certain of how this talent works, but when analyzing the pieces she chooses afterwards, the common thread is a classic that is style that is classic yet surprising, elegant and modern. Not only is this evident in the spaces that she works on as a whole, but one can find this signature style in the objects that she chooses.

Unpacking the container filled with items originating from all over Europe reminded the entire team at Nancy Price Interior Design of the unique stories and exquisite labor-intensive craftsmanship that went into the creation of each piece. The team at Nancy Price Interior Design is busily preparing the pieces, from organizing and repurposing these objects, to considering how they would work best in other spaces. Regardless of what space will ultimately house these beautiful pieces, the team couldn’t be more pleased with the choices that Nancy made while sorting through such a variety of objects while abroad.
